When a homeowner in the Leafy suburbs of Manchester decided they wanted extra space they contacted one of Wykamol’s Registered installers (Basements North West).
Tony Saville managing director contacted the waterproofing team at Wykamol and asked them to attend site to look at this project and design the scheme to waterproof the basement.
The property a large, detached dwelling had 4 chambers to the basement and the client wanted a home cinema, bar, and home cinema.
Wykamol came up with a specification of Type C cavity drain membranes linked into a modular drainage system and specialist double pumped chamber and monitoring alarm system.
The project took 3 months from start to finish, included in this was new concrete floors throughout the scheme.
As can be seen in the photographs, Wykamol’s high visibility 20mm floor membrane is on the floors as well as their 8mm membrane on the walls.
Being on site to advise the contractor and check on progress means that the installer is confident all the way through the project.
