Limestone & Marble Centrepiece for Chelsea Flower Show

Limestone & Marble Centrepiece for Chelsea Flower Show

Client: StoneAge
Material: Pietra Serena Limestone, Santa Fiore Marble

stoneCIRCLE was commissioned by StoneAge to manufacture the round stone floor feature in the middle of the Sentebale Garden at the Chelsea Flower Show. The feature was composed of 125mm thick Pietra Serena limestone which was carved into shape and then inlaid with Santa Fiore marble which had been cut with a water jet to leave 1mm joints. The whole object was then machined flat.

Sentebale is a charity founded by Prince Harry and Prince Seeiso of Lesotho in memory of their mothers to help the neediest children of Lesotho. The garden was designed by Jinny Blom and sponsored by B&Q.
