An Ultra Polylok 100PE plant from Marsh Industries has been specified for the Swallow Fields Business Park in Hailsham, Sussex. One of the major concerns for BNP PARIBAS, the Consultant Engineers & the Environment Agency was the effective treatment and disposal of the raw sewage from the site where there is such variable loading.

Marsh had the answer and an Ultra Polylok 100PE plant was specified. The Ultra Polylok sewage plants fit the MP625 Polylok filters as standard, these filters reduce further the TSS & BOD. The plant also has a unique internal recycling system that balances the loading.

Laing O’Rourke were the approved contractor who installed the plant and made all the connections for the drainage and electricity supply. The plant was installed within three days with the plant now achieving final effluent results of 4mg/l for Ammonia and 7.8mg/l for BOD.
