McConnell Roofing and Keepmoat were briefed to strip, overlay and renew the roofs of various housing blocks in Letham, Perth with a fast and easy to use membrane system. All existing roofing felt was stripped; a new vapour control layer was installed with a bitumen felt torch on material which was then applied onto existing concrete slab deck in preparation for the insulation board, this was finished off with a Sika Trocal 1.5 SGK membrane in Slate Grey C300. Due to the housing blocks still being still being occupied throughout the project.

The overall size of the project consisted of 55 housing blocks totaling 11,000m2. The work was split between Sika Trocal, licensed contractors McConnell Kilmarnock and Amber Cowdenbeath, with Keepmoat as the main contractor.
