French restaurant chain, Le Bistrot Pierre, has specified two 50kg Stannah Microlifts for the rapid transport of food and associated items between two floors in their new-build, landmark Bistrot in Sheffield.
A stylish curved exterior in natural wood and plate-glass introduces an equally stylish split-level interior. With floor to ceiling windows on each side, the Bistrot pays fine attention to detail throughout within a décor of Pewter, Silver and Grey offset by dark wood, soft-leather furniture and antiques. Perfectly complementing this chic venue are the Stannah Microlifts, finished in satin stainless-steel and discretely hard at work between the ground-floor bar and first-floor restaurant and kitchen.
Fitted with two shelves each to maximise their workload, these lifts are ideal for the repeated movement of small loads in this type of fast-paced catering environment. Installed and working in a few days, subject to builders work, they also help the owners meet the requirements of the Health & Safety at Work Act.
Le Bistrot Pierre Manager, Nick Dunkley, comments: Representing outstanding value, our informal, friendly and lively venue serves provincial French cuisine to a high standard. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner every day of the week, we really needed two garçons that were up to the hectic job demanded of them. We are delighted to say that our Stannah Microlifts fit the bill and help us maintain the excellent standards on which Le Bistrot Pierre has built its reputation.
