Marsh Industries were selected to provide a wastewater treatment plant for the TGV fast rail line to Montpellier in France. A three tank Ultra Polylok treatment plant was ideal, using
multi-zone Submerged Aerated Filtration (SAF - MBBR) technology for optimum performance, reliability and self cleaning properties with quantifiable LCC.

The variable nature of the load, combined with stringent French and local Authority requirements in this environmentally sensitive area were a particular challenge in this project. However, the challenge was passed with a rapid production lead time from the Marsh Industries custom built factory near Northampton. The treatment plants went from bespoke order to on-site in South West France in only 5 weeks, including stainless steel pre-filter grill and post treatment pump station.

Total installation time from the in-house team was 10 days, with the completed treatment plant solution handed over ahead of schedule.
