Wecryl sprayable waterproofing for Aldersgate Tower

Wecryl sprayable waterproofing for Aldersgate Tower

The City of London is famous for extreme high real estate prices. Thus lots of premises are currently under modernisation to cope with the high demand for office space. Around 17 floors of the Aldersgate Tower were refurbished of which the roofs of 5 floors had to be waterproofed as well.

A fast effective solution was required by the client in which they decided to use Resin with limited access to the roof area, long supply hoses which had been layed over the facade allowed the pump to be located on one floor for the duration of the project. The spray system granted a 50% faster application than traditional manual methods to the field areas. Finally the upstands had been waterproofed manually with Wecryl 230 Thix.
